Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Mission Critical
Fully Remote
Up to £75,000
We Are currently working with an MEP consultancy in the south who are currently on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Engineer to come on board and join their growing team. This company packs a punch and works with some of the most prestigious companies in the world to deliver very complex mission critical projects.
This consultancy is partnered with massive blue-chip tech companies, which will give you the opportunity of working on some impressive hyper-scale data centres. They are all working on a completely agile basis and aren't enforcing set office hours which makes this a very attractive prospect for people that are looking for more of a balance in their working life. Their will be occasional travel to their office/ sites but essentially this role is fully remote. As long as you are okay with the prior this oudl be your dream role.
This position will be working on the mission-critical projects as this is the predominant portfolio of our client. Therefore you will need to have demonstrable experience working on these types of projects.
It is important that the successful engineer is confident in their ability and will be able to work autonomously. You will be very technically capable when it comes to the design of all electrical systems within mission-critical projects although it would be highly advantageous if you have experience with commercial fit-out schemes as well. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and will have ideally seen projects from concept to completion. Good working knowledge of Amtech, Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD, and other industry-specific software. Ideally, you will have involvement with clients and be used to managing expectations.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in electrical engineering or building services
- CEng or working towards and ideally industry accredited qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years in the building services industry
- Technically capable in the design of electrical systems
- Must have a minimum of 3 years working on mission-critical projects
