Your new company
Hays are delighted to be working alongside an international manufacturing company based in Redditch in recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join their successful team. This company offer a wide range of products to their diverse customer base, serviced from their locations throughout Europe.
Your new role
Your new role as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator will see you coordinate CI practices from group level across the site, practically implementing these throughout all levels of the business. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Managing Director and senior operational team to implement CI processes.
- Identify areas of business loss and improvement.
- Prioritise improvement projects to improve systems and processes, leading these initiatives as required.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement corrective actions when identified.
- Follow group-wide projects.
- Play a key role in the cultural transformation of the site.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will:
- Be familiar with continuous improvement methodology and tools.
- Possess a hands-on approach to implementing strategy throughout all levels of the business.
- Previous experience in coaching/training CI tools across the business.
- A degree within an engineering discipline, a qualification in continuous improvement (Six Sigma etc) would be desirable.
- Previous working experience within large/medium sized organisations would be desirable.
- Although this role has no direct reports, management/leadership experience would be desirable.
Full eligibility to work in the UK is a necessity as no sponsorship will be offered.
