Your new company
You will be joining a leading civil engineering and building company based in the East Midlands working on a major water infrastructure framework in England. This company has an excellent reputation for investing in their people and delivering high quality construction projects across the UK and Ireland. In this project you will be working on a new wastewater pumping station, pipelines as well as upgrades to wastewater treatment works.
Your new role
In this role you will be working closely with the site manager and be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring that setting out is accurate, effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met, developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors, and continually developing your knowledge in the industry, communicating and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant staff.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be a deadline-driven individual with a degree in civil engineering (or other industry related qualification) and ideally 3-4 years relevant experience. Prior experience within the eater or utilities sector would be advantageous. You will be able to closely collaborate with other project stakeholders and have sound numeracy and IT skills (including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel). You will also hold a full driving licence and relevant site cards.
