Your new company is an educational and skills support business which is a joint venture between Staffordshire County Council & Capita. They work in partnership with schools, academy trusts and Local Authorities providing specialist expertise.

Your new role

The company are looking to recruit 1 Graduate, 1 Junior/Intermediate and 1 Senior Electrical Engineer (multiple posts)

You will be working in the Property Services Team working with Schools, Colleges and Community Centres. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team providing a one-stop shop for the design, procurement and maintenance of buildings and services, providing expertise in Building Services Engineering.

You will be working on design projects of the architectural, building and design projects from Inception to Completion either on an individual basis or part of a Project Team. You will be assisting other Senior Engineers / Architects in the determination of corporate policy on electrical engineering matters and assisting in the control and direction of support staff as required to coordinate engineering designs.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for these roles, you must either be a recent Graduate with a degree in Electrical Design or Building Services Engineering / have HNC or HND post-degree / or a minimum of ONC in Electrical Building Services Engineering. For Intermediates and Seniors, you must have experience working in a similar kind of role, come from an electrically biased background and understand all aspects of electrical engineering. You must also have COSHH, be proficient in AutoCAD, Amtech and Dialux (Revit is an advantage).
