New Role in Staffordshire for Graduate/Junior/Intermediate/Senior Mechanical Engineer - full-time & permanent

Your new company

Your new company is an educational and skills support business which is a joint venture between Staffordshire County Council & Capita. They work in partnership with schools, academy trusts and Local Authorities providing specialist expertise. The Consultancy provides a complete multi-disciplinary property service for construction and maintenance of the County Council's portfolio of buildings as well as for external clients.

Your new role

The company are looking to recruit 1 Graduate, 1 Junior/Intermediate and 1 Senior Mechanical Engineer (multiple posts)

You will be working in the Property Services Team working with Schools, Colleges and Community Centres. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team providing a one-stop shop for the design, procurement and maintenance of buildings and services, providing expertise in Building Services Engineering.

You will be working on design projects from inception through to completion individually and/or as part of a team. You will be preparing documents for all relevant planning approvals as well as coordinating engineering designs.

What you'll need to succeed

You will either need to be a recent graduate / a graduate with a few years experience or at a senior level. You must have a degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a Building Services degree. You should have experience working in this industry. You ideally would be capable of preparing detailed mechanical engineering drawings to a good standard. Possess knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, Asbestos Regulations, COSHH, CDM and other legislation and regulations concerned with building and development.
