New Job opportunity in Warwickshire as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for a leading University. Band 6
Your new company
Your new company is a forward-looking, growing and modern University based in Warwickshire. It is a city-centre based University with several campuses within the local vicinity. They have recently been through a restructure in 2021, with plans of developing and evolving their campuses.
Your new role
In your new role as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will reporting to the Operations Manager. You will be ensuring the provision of a highly effective, efficient and customer focused mechanical engineering maintenance service to the full range of University's buildings. You will also be responsible for managing compliance assurance on a range of assets and systems, including Landlords' Gas Safety Certificates (CP12). This role will consist of the development of commercial boiler maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance is met with industry standards.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience working in the industry and either be from a maintenance background or mechanically biased. You ideally would have experience working with domestic boilers, plant-rooms and BMS systems. Those candidates that have previously worked on the tools would be considered for this role: you could be a qualified plumber at least Level 3 qualified or a Mechanical Technician. You must have recent up to date Domestic & Commercial Gas Safe certifications.
