Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - £55k To £65K + Package

I'm currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a well-known building services consultancy based in Peterborough. This consultancy is run by the Director who is friendly, supportive and will invest his time in helping you to develop. They have a relaxed and positive company culture and strongly value a work life balance for their staff.
Working closely with the Director, you will develop energy efficient HVAC design from concept to construction and take a lead role on several projects. Their recent projects include, an aqua park, student accommodation, refurbishment of a listed building and many other retail, leisure pharmaceutical and education projects.
In addition to developing HVAC designs, detailed calculations, co-ordinating MEP services, leading client, and design team meetings, you will also carry out an overseeing role as you will provide QA on less experienced Engineers' work before it is issued.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years' experience, as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the Building Services industry.
- Able to lead projects from feasibility to handover.
- Comfortable in a client facing role.
