Our client is an independent and client-driven Consultancy that has continued to thrive in the building services sector, providing an excellent opportunity to not only join, but also lead, their highly motivated and dedicated engineering team. They are currently looking for an ambitious Associate Electrical Engineer to join their ranks and help maintain and propel their continued growth. They are based in the Newcastle area.

The successful candidate must be driven to always deliver only the highest quality work within their area of expertise while remaining professional throughout project completion. The project portfolio of our client is diverse and exciting. Providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to work in a variety of buildings.

It is critical for a successful engineer to be confident in their skills and attributes in order to work efficiently and effectively. You will want to improve your technical ability in electrical designs across a variety of building types. You will have exceptional time management skills to ensure that the entire project process, from concept to completion, is completed to high quality in an efficient and timely manner. Experience with industry-specific software, as well as excellent communication skills, are required to positively lead and manage your design team, as well as to build and maintain a strong relationship between your team and the end client.

Associate Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • The ownership of an Electrical engineering or building services degree.
  • Previous engineer team management experience.
  • CEng, or obtaining an ideal industry-recognised qualification.
  • Technically able within the design of Electrical systems.
  • At Least 10 years of experience in the building services industry.
