Our client is renowned as one of the most proficient multidisciplinary consultancies in the UK, with offices all over the country. They attain an impressive client base and work on some very impressive projects with construction values in the 100's of millions. They are currently looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their team based in Kent. This is a constantly growing MEP Team; however, you will be supported by the wider business unit and will be able to bounce of others in the company. There is the opportunity to make it to Partner level over the next few years and you will become an integral part of the growth of MEP business for this company.

As the successful Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will need to be able to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations whilst maintain and building new relationships for the company. You will be the technical leader when it comes to projects you manage. You will have played an active part in the development of the more junior engineers and will manage the engineering output for each project. You will be responsible for managing financial deliverable and will play a part in the project bids.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within a building services design position
  • Ideally CEng as well as accredited member of recognised organisation
  • Excellent technical capability when it comes to design of mechanical systems
  • Good understanding of building design from a multidisciplinary approach
