Your new company
This built environment consultancy specialises in building services design (heating, ventilation, lighting, energy). Their team of 45 in central London works on a diverse range of projects from residential blocks to large community master-plans, refurbishment of offices and design of major new-build workplaces, technical facilities such as labs and pharma facilities, and more. They have a creative and supportive culture and a wide range of experience and personalities. Their new office space in the heart of London has been designed with flexibility and agile working in mind, with spaces to focus, collaborate, and socialise all catered for. Following continued new projects wins across the year, they are growing the team with a new graduate electrical engineer.

Your new role
You will join an established team of electrical design engineers. You will join a graduate programme designed to develop you into a competent electrical designer, and be assigned a mentor and buddy. You will use specialist software to develop building load assessments, lighting designs and electrical system designs. You will design in both 2D & 3D. You will design with low carbon standards and make energy efficient designs. You will design smart buildings integrations, access controls and security. You will attend design team meetings, and visits sites as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a passion for electrical design in the built environment. You might be a recent graduate or have some working experience. You will have studied a relevant subject in electrical engineering. You will have a proactive and ambitious personality, be keen to learn quickly, and able to act professionally in-front of clients.
