£43,500 rising to £47k - Wakefield - Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Panama Shifts

This opportunity has the chance to join a leading Foods company based in Wakefield. Who are actively looking to recruit 3 Electrical Maintenance Engineers.
Responsibilities for this position include planned maintenance inspections, reviewing frequencies and parts used. Recommend improvements to maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on equipment in line with legislation and best practice. Overhaul and repair of plant; continually monitor plant conditions and report defects. Complete stores requisitions for parts and contract services. Perform in depth RCA for breakdowns and process failure. Help generate and maintain compliance to SOPs/ Risk Assessments. Carry out work in a standardised way. Report plant performance using appropriate company systems and ensure action on/communication of non-conformance issues. Ensure operational key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams; complete any relevant documentation on time and in full and support site services as required.
Experience in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Shift engineer role is required, ideally in the Foods/ FMCG or Manufacturing sector.
This opportunity is offering a salary of £40,000 - £43,500 with a competitive overall package. The shift patterns are Panama style.
