Our client is a passionate and innovative consultancy with an excellent opportunity to join their highly regarded team. Based in Newcastle, they are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team and help them maintain and elevate their high levels of success. The successful candidate must have the desire to always deliver the highest level of working quality in their work while also ensuring accuracy throughout projects. Our client has a diverse and exciting project portfolio that includes a wide range of building types.
To always work collaboratively and efficiently, the successful engineer must be confident in their own skills and attributes. You will want to improve your technical ability in mechanical designs across a wide range of building types. You will have exceptional time management skills to ensure that the entire project process, from concept to completion, is completed to high standards in a timely and effective manner. Knowledge of industry-specific software such as Hevacomp, Cymap, and IES. You will also demonstrate exceptional communication skills in order to positively impact design team meetings and build and maintain a strong relationship between your team and the end client.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- The ownership of a Mechanical engineering or building services degree.
- CEng, or obtaining an ideally industry recognised qualifications.
- Technically able within the design of Mechanical systems.
- 8-10 years in the building services industry.
