Your new company
Hays Building Services seek to recruit an Electrical Engineer for our client, a global fully integrated professional and technical services firm based in Belfast. Our client is expanding and are looking for someone experienced to join the building services team to get involved on some major, exciting local and international projects.

Your new role
You will be involved in all aspects of building services undertaking detailed electrical designs and drawings for a diverse range of new build projects including, lighting, general power, switchgear, IT, schematics, schedules, floor plans and associated specifications. This is an important position within the building services team and will carry the grade of Engineer or Senior Engineer, subject to experience.

What you'll need to succeed

  • HNC/HND or Degree educated in building services, electrical engineering, or similar / related discipline. (Experience rather than education route will be considered)
  • An experienced Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineer presently holding either an engineer level or senior position
  • Relevant experience in specification writing, calculations, and developing designs from first principles including lighting, general power, LV/HV schematics, Fire Alarm, Security, Data etc and be conversant with codes and practices.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech etc.
