Your new company
An opportunity has arisen for a Renewables Manager to join an industry leader in UK's Building Services providers who design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe. This company are looking to expand their renewable energy solutions sector based at their headquarters in Banbridge.

Your new role
This role will focus on review of current supply chain agreements and sourcing of alternative products primarily within the renewables heat pump sector to help secure and expand current company offerings. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and updating the wider teams in relation to current and future legislation that may impact on their renewable product offerings.

  • Review of current product offerings carry out due diligence against alternative options
  • Review of trading agreements in place for current products and liaising with suppliers to secure OEM agreements where relevant for ease of distribution
  • Manage incoming enquiries for renewable technologies and liaise with internal teams to ensure relevant quotes are prepared and submitted in a timely manner
  • Engage with Geological specialists to explore and setout options for commercial deep geothermal solutions
  • Carry out due diligence on the funding opportunities available in the UK and Ireland for Renewable technologies
  • Liaise with internal design team and trade partners to assist with developing proposals for integration of renewable solutions
  • Liaise with M&E Consultants and assist in providing them product specific data to help with their designs and promote company offerings
  • Prepare and deliver, when required, company CPD presentations related to the Renewable system offerings
  • Engage with existing customer base of Tier 1 M&E contractors, Main Contractors and Councils in relation to projects requiring renewable energy solutions
  • Utilise industry specific database for lead generation and to identify potential new clients / projects of interest
  • Prepare monthly reports on status or live quotes and expected orders as well as an overview of projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience within the Renewables Sector
  • Strong knowledge of renewable heat and specifically heat pump technology
  • Proven experience in sourcing product throughout Europe and securing supply agreements
  • Third level qualification in a relevant Renewables, Building Services or Business degree
  • Proven track record of generating leads and converting these to order within a commercial environment
  • Ability to engage with a range of clients from consultants to Main Contractors, with the capability to communicate and present effectively, while maintaining a sales focus, with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high level of IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to adapt in line with changing market conditions, while ensuring the company is aligned with the latest market requirements
  • Previous experience of utilising a CRM to track and manage leads
  • Driven and motivated, with the ability to self-generate workloads
