New Job based in Birmingham for a Multi Skilled Operative Process Worker, permanent role with hourly rate

Your new company

You new company is based in West Birmingham. They are a building manufacturing company, building and refurbishing portacabins. They are then delivered and installed on site with minimal disruption.

Your new role

In your new role as a Multi Skilled Operative Process Worker, you will be working on building brand new and refurbishing existing portacabins which consists of toilets, showers and changing rooms. This is a multi skilled role, which would require you to do some of the following: painting, repairs, water testing changing taps, minor cleaning etc.

A van is provided to workers should they need to go on to the customers site to carry out repairs on existing fitted portacabins.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be an experienced multi skilled operative and willing to carry out the above duties. You would have multi-skills in painting, repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry.

What you'll get in return

This is a permanent position, paying an hourly rate of 13.18 per hour which is equivalent to an annual salary of 26,729.04. This is a performance related role, so there will be opportunities to earn more money. This is reviewed every six months and will increase and overtime is offered frequently.

You will be required to work 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30pm to 3:30pm. There will be occasional weekends but this is classed as overtime and is optional.

Please note, there will be a two stage Interview process, 1st stage on Zoom Video and 2nd stage at the depot in Birmingham
