Associate Mechanical Engineer

£60,000 - £65,000 Plus benefits


Our client is an independent multi-national building services consultancy, whose continued success has now created an excelling opportunity to become a part of their small but highly skilled team. Based in Caterham, they are now looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will require the ambition to ensure they always deliver the highest quality of work within their expertise as well as always ensuring professionalism throughout project completion. Our client has a range of buildings within different scheme, so it would be important for the successful Associate Mechanical Engineer to have a variety of project experience.

As the successful Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will need to be able to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations whilst maintaining and building new relationships for the company. You will be the technical leader when it comes to projects you manage. You will have played an active part in the development of the more junior engineers and will manage the engineering output for each project. You will be responsible for managing financial deliverables and will play a part in the project bids.


  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within a building services design position
  • Ideally CEng as well as an accredited member of recognised organisation
  • Excellent technical capability when it comes to the design of mechanical systems
  • Strong project leading skills on large residential projects
