CAD Technician (Mechanical Building Services) - ASAP Start - Up to 30k - Northampton based contractor

Your new company
A Building Services contractor based in Northampton are looking to appoint a Mechanically bias CAD Technician. They have secured work for the next few years and enjoy repeat business from clients mainly in the commercial and industrial space, projects typically ranging from £300k - £5million in value.

Recent projects have included warehousing / distribution centres, high end offices, school extensions, leisure facilities etc.

Your new role
You will be required to draw mainly in 2D, with the ability to draw Ductwork, Pipework or any other mechanical working. You will work closely with the design team and support them to ensure deadlines are met and works are done to high standards. Third-party training courses can be provided for those who want to enhance their drawing capabilities to use Revit/BIM

What you'll need to succeed

• Mechanically bias whether that be through experience or qualifications within the Building Services sector
• You must be able to clearly demonstrate your competence with Mechanical drawings
• Able to use mainstream CAD packages
• Previous CAD experience essential
