Intermediate Electrical Engineer - To £43K + Autonomy and a choice of career paths.
Bored of just working on an electrical package on large projects?
This privately owned, building services consultancy trains all their engineers to develop experience and knowledge across all aspects of Electrical services, across RIBA Stages 0 -7.
In addition to the usual RIBA Stage 3 - 4 design, you'll also gain experience in undertaking specialist surveys (Dilapidation, Condition / Pre-Acquisition & Licence to Alter etc), and also overseeing the installation and commissioning of MEP services on site.
Hence, you'll develop into a well-rounded, technically strong, and commercially aware, electrical building services design engineer, with up-to-date knowledge of renewable technologies, NZC design and SMART buildings.
As an Electrical Building Services Engineer, you'll get to work on everything from listed buildings, museums, high rise commercial office towers, universities, data centres and cultural buildings such as churches, mosques, and art galleries.
You will be supported and encouraged to reach your full potential, and you will be free to choose what career path you want, i.e., a more technical role or a more commercially focussed and client facing role.
If you're currently bored of just working on specific packages on a project, rather than working on the entire project this role will alleviate that.
- Able to use Trimble MEP (i.e., Amtech!) or Revit MEP.
- At least two years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in the built environment.
- Able to work as part of a team to meet common goals.
