Mechanical Engineer

A London borough is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer

Your new company
My client has a established team that comprises of Project Managers, Engineers and inspectors holding key technical knowledge. This team is responsible in delivering various upgrade and carbon neutral works for the borough.

Your new role
As an engineer, you will take the responsibility of delivering various projects from design stages through to tender and then delivery. Some projects, you will work collaboratively with other engineers and on smaller projects you will be solely responsible on delivering. This includes design sign offs, technical advising, tender appointment and programme management.

What you'll need to succeed
A background in mechanical project delivery is required preferably when previously working for a public sector organisation. You will need design capabilities, experience in contract management and stakeholder engagement. You must hold a HND/ HNC in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering as a minimum.

What you'll get in return
On offer is a hourly rate of £25 - £35 per hour dependant on experience with a working pattern of Mon- Fri, 7.2 hours a day on a 3 month rolling contract.
