Finance, Infrastructure & Commercial Services – Estate Services

This new full – time post is available from 24/04/2023 on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

The successful candidate will work within Estate Service, Engineering and Direct Works and alongside the Sustainability Team, Built Estate, Space Management and Administrative Teams, based at Streatham Farm, Streatham Campus, Exeter.

The role requires the application of technical knowledge, design, and management of various mechanical services installations across the University’s Exeter Campuses.

Working together within a small team of dedicated estates mechanical and electrical engineers implementing and delivering mechanical maintenance contracts, long term maintenance projects and Capital construction projects, advising on the mechanical aspects of new build and refurbishment projects.

The role involves close collaboration with other professionals within Estates, professional and academic services teams, stakeholders throughout the university and external consultants and contractors.
