Graduate Mechanical Engineer
£25,000 - £30,000 plus benefits
Billericay
This client focuses on a variety of commercial, industrial, higher education, defence, commercial, heritage, and other industry sectors. To join their team in their Billericay office, they are searching for a graduate mechanical engineer with a passion for building service design. They are seeking an engineer who wishes to join a small, close-knit group that will gain from working with the directors and other chartered engineers.
Your job will entail designing mechanical systems for various sorts of buildings. You will use design software in 2D and 3D, including Autocad, Revit, Hevacomp, and IES. You will participate in design meetings and make site visits to inspect the installations you design. You will receive training to become a chartered engineer and member of the IET or CIBSE and you will be given early responsibility on a variety of their ongoing projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services,
- Ideally one/two years' experience within a consultancy,
- Ability to prioritise your workload and work collaboratively to achieve internal and external deadlines,
- Working towards professional membership with CIBSE/IET,
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications,
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety legislations.
