Principal Mechanical Engineer
Up to £55 per hour

Our client is a long established design consultancy based in the heart of London city. Our client has a very impressive client base and are working on some cutting-edge facilities in the Life Sciences arena and are looking for an exceptional candidate to join their team. They deliver projects throughout a variety of sectors but are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their design team. This group of highly technical engineers work on some very complex healthcare and pharmaceutical projects so it would be essential for you to have experience in this sector. They continue to deliver a fantastic service to their clients and grow year on year because of this. Due to their efforts this team has grown substantially, and they are looking to bring in even more bodies. Ideally, a technically astute and personable Principal Mechanical Engineer on an ongoing contract basis.
It is important that the successful engineer is confident in their ability and will be able to work autonomously. You will be very technically capable when it comes to the design of all mechanical systems within projects You will have strong stakeholder management skills and will have ideally seen projects from concept to completion. You will have led complex schemes by yourself and feel comfortable leading a multidisciplinary team to successfully deliver projects.
Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical engineering or building services
- CEng or working towards and ideally industry accredited qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in the building services industry
- Technically capable in the design of mechanical systems
- Must have experience on Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare projects & knowledge of ISO Cleanrooms.
