Job Details

Senior Structural Engineer - £45k-£55k + 25 days leave, work from home two days a week, 5% pension, life insurance, annual bonus, and quick progression.

Reporting to the Structural Director you'll use digital engineering and best practice sustainability design methodologies as you work on both new build and complex refurbishment projects.

You'll enjoy working in a close knit team of supportive and experienced structural engineers and also collaborate closely with the inhouse energy, building services and energy engineers.

You'll get to work on BIM Level 2 projects and use your skills in computational design, parametric modelling and automation (i.e. Dynamo, Grasshopper and Python) to generate complex models.

Requirements

  • Good communicator, able to convey technical terms to a non-technical audience in an engaging manner.
  • Advanced skills in Revit, Tekla, Navisworks and BIM360.
  • Familiar with a range of materials such as RC/PT concrete, structural steel, CLT and composite materials.
  • Willing to work as part of a team to meet common goals.
  • Previous experience working on either residential, education, commercial, listed or healthcare projects.
