Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in the building services sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and leadership in the design and delivery of electrical building services projects.
- Manage and oversee the electrical engineering team, providing support and guidance as required.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met or exceeded.
- Lead the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of fee proposals and manage project budgets and resources.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest standard.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Chartered status with a recognised institution (e.g. IET, CIBSE)
- A minimum of 10 years experience in electrical building services design, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building services and electrical engineering.
- Experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Experience in using relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as BS7671, BS EN 62305, and BS5839.
- Ability to manage project budgets and resources, and deliver projects to agreed timescales.
