Job Details
We are working for a leading UK building services engineering consultancy looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and leading the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across the UK
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and quality control
- Conducting feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical evaluations
- Preparing technical specifications, drawings, and reports
- Collaborating with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional institution such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or the Engineering Council
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical building services design and delivery in the UK
- Experience in managing multiple projects and project teams
- Excellent technical knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards in the UK
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux
