Part-Time Building Services Design Manager- Nottinghamshire - £45,000 - £50,000 (Pro-Rata) (3 days a week)

Your new company
You will be working for a small friendly Mechanical and Electrical design consultancy in Nottinghamshire. This client works with a variety of different clients which includes both public and private sector clients. Due to the stable continued growth in this consultancy has resulted in the opportunity within the team. The client in this business uses software including; Revit and IES.

Your new role
You will be working as part-time Design Manager, looking after a small team of 3 junior Building Services professionals within the team. This role has arisen to help mainly oversee these members of staff, allowing the director focus upon business development.

In this your role will be varied and will include:

• You will oversee drawings and make sure they are to standards.
• Will attend meetings and make notes accordingly.
• Liaise with clients.
• Account manager with key clients.
• The greater amount of responsibilities will be in the overseeing of junior members of staff.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be reasonably proficient in Building Services design and thus to make sure drawings are as to standards. However, the greater emphasis of the role will be focused upon ensuring that work is delegated correctly and on-track so good mentoring/manager skills are important.

What you'll get in return
£45,000 - £50,000 +, £500 allowance to either charity or hobbies, Gym fees, £500 towards CPD, Institute fees and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
