Intermediate Electrical Engineer

We are working alongside a leading Building Services consultancy looking for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in the UK. Our client is committed to providing their clients with innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solutions, and are looking for an experienced electrical engineer who shares their passion for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside senior engineers to design electrical systems for a variety of building types
• Create detailed electrical designs, including schematics, layouts, and specifications
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architects to ensure that designs are integrated and optimized
• Conduct site visits and liaise with contractors to ensure that installations are completed to a high standard
• Monitor project progress and report to the project manager
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet client needs and exceed industry standards

Requirements:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector
• Knowledge of relevant design standards and regulations, including BS7671
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant software
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
