Your new company
An opportunity has arisen for a Renewables Technical Manager to join an industry leader in UK's Building Services providers who design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe. This company are looking to expand their renewable energy solutions sector based at their headquarters in Banbridge.

Your new role
The candidate will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the renewable heating systems installed by the company, including trouble shooting and continual product development & support. The candidate will support the pre-construction and decarbonisation teams in developing viable designs for integration of renewable technologies and provide product specific training and technical support to our trade partners and inhouse contracts and maintenance teams for all live projects.

Other Key Duties:

  • Provide Post Install support to Contracts Delivery Team and trade partner network.
  • Work with S&M team to ensure products are maintained in line with Warranty T&C's
  • Collate and Store Extensive product specific document library (manuals etc)
  • Assist in recruiting & upscaling of engineering team in line with installations.
  • Report monthly to senior management in relation to post installation performance and operation of plant installed.
  • Attend Client Handovers / Demonstrations
  • Proof control strategy and oversee commissioning.
  • Provide on-site product training / troubleshooting.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience within the renewables industry specifically within the heat pump market
  • Background in Commercial Mechanical and / or Electrical industries
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong technical knowledge and practical mindset
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office packages
