Job Details
Senior Mechanical Engineer - To £58K + Free lunches and just two ( 2 ) days a week from the office.
With the cost of travel, mortgages / rent, energy, food, and coffee all rising, you're probably noticing that your salary just isn't going as far as it used to.
And with numerous engineering consultancies now also actively "encouraging" employees to return to the office three (3) days a week, this is probably also further eating into your disposable income.
This quality driven, employee-owned multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy has a solution.
Here, as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you'll only need to attend the office twice a week (Currently Tuesdays and Thursdays).
And on these days, they will provide you with a free lunch, free coffee or and tea, free fresh juices, and free fresh fruit. Plus, their air-conditioned modern office is lovely and cool in summer and has loads of green spaces within walking distance of the office.
They also offer flexible working hours; an interest free flexible season ticket loan, or ride to work scheme and do have onsite shower and secure cycling storage facilities.
As a client facing Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you'll report directly to the Director of MEP and have full autonomy for leading your own projects. Current projects include both UK and international projects and span the commercial (Everything from high rise towers in New York to CAT A and CAT B Fit Outs in London) residential led, mixed-use developments, universities buildings and some light industrial and hotel projects.
And if you do need any help on a high level or strategic level, you also have access to the Founder, an energetic and entrepreneurial individual who is a well-known thought leader and ambassador within the Built Environment.
As a medium sized practice, you'll develop a good overview of Sustainability, HVAC, Energy Modelling, BIM, and architecture and enjoy going to work again.
In addition to a basic salary of up to £58K, they also offer enhanced annual leave, 5% pension, ongoing CPD, a discretionary annual bonus, ultimate flexibility, and quick progression to Principal.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer with a minimum of five years' experience to join a vibrant and innovative consultancy in Zone 1, London.
