Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer - Cambridgeshire - £50 to £65K

Work on complex, architecturally led projects whilst enjoying a nine day fortnight.

Located just a few minutes' walk from Cambridge train station, this well-established Building Services Consultancy prides themselves on providing a great work / life balance and offer a nine-day fortnight.

Reporting to the MEP Director you'll enjoy leading a range of complex projects including laboratories, leisure centres, low energy universities, commercial offices, listed buildings and large-scale mixed-use developments.

They design straight into Revit and most of their projects are BIM Level 2 and utilise innovative yet flexible, low energy solutions.

You'll benefit from being involved in projects from RIBA Stage 1 to 5, extensive autonomy, and a clear path to an Electrical Team Leader (Associate) position, as they promote based on merit, skills, and

ability. You'll also have direct access to the founding Director, a friendly and supportive individual that will also invest their time into mentoring and developing you.

It's a great time to join them as they have secured projects for the next 12 months, consisting of new builds, complex refurbishments,

and frameworks.

Requirements

- At least five years' experience, as an Electrical Design Engineer within the Building Services industry.

- Able to lead a project (technically) from feasibility to handover.

- Comfortable in a client facing role.

- Working knowledge of Revit MEP.

- Awareness of sustainable design and Passivhaus.
