Your new company
A UK leading multi award-winning building services contractor are currently seeking a Building Services Manager to assist in the preparation of mechanical designs for commercial heating plantrooms and prefabricated products for the high-rise residential, Healthcare, Education, Hotel / Leisure sector and Data Centres.

Your new role
Working in conjunction with an established design team who operate with the latest AutoCAD; MEP 3D design packages, you will be tasked to coordinate all the M&E services within the offsite fabrication packages to ensure that they can be fabricated, delivered, and installed to the client specification and current regulations.

Your role will deliver the completed design for the project so that it can be handed over to the contracts teams for fabrication and installation, acting as a key point of contact and information, liaising with all stakeholders to provide a professional service to the highest standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Educated to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Electrical/Control Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Minimum of three years' design experience within building services.
  • Knowledge of legislation, standards, safe working practices and environmental best practice would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisation, planning and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure on own initiatives to achieve self and team target.
