Your new company
Is a Building Services design practice that provides a strategic and innovative approach to delivering engineering consultancy services for its clients. They have recently won a large package of works on a number of frameworks and are looking to appoint a new strategic hire in their London office to make the most of this.
Your new role
Is a strategic appointment leading the London business and increasing the work stream from a number of strong public sector clients. As a result there is an emphasis on commercial development and client management, but you won't be expected to bring your own work with you. A key aspect of the role is to develop the London business and get a structure in place to deliver more work from existing clients and build the team by 50% over the first year.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a Chartered Engineer (CIBSE preferred) with a mechanical bias. You will have a strong background in building services design (15+ years) across a number of sectors and project types. You will also have experience working within an SME environment. You must be able to maintain and enforce existing systems and have experience developing and managing a team.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive remuneration including a yearly salary of £100k+ with bonuses of up to 30% of your salary. You will also receive access to an EMI scheme which entitles you to a % of the value of the business upon sale (without buying in). You will also receive private healthcare and travel allowance and a 5% pension and 28 days annual leave.
