Associate Director Mechanical

I am recruiting on behalf of a leading MEP Consultants based in Newcastle.

They are looking for a Mechanical Associate to join their team as a result of a burgeoning order book and to look at the development and day-to-day mentoring of subordinate MEP Design Engineers.

You may well be a Senior or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer now and looking for the next step in your career. If so, this role could well be for you.

A relevant degree is essential and you should either be Chartered or well on the way to achieving MCIBSE status.

You must be able to take Mechanical Design projects from inception to completion whilst maintaining an overview on the financial aspects keeping a day-to-day finger on the figures.

This will also be an excellent opportunity to hone your Business Development skills as you will be actively encouraged to meet and greet existing and potential, future, clients.

The sustainability aspect of building designs are at the forefront of this companies ethos and you must be able to lead your Mechanical design team in this field.

This is a role only for someone who can run with the ball from day one by demonstrating your own ideas to be implemented across the business (you will be listened to and actively encouraged to engage your own strategies).

The company is privately owned and a stand-alone Building Services Consultants thus free from some of the constraints imposed by larger organisations.
