Your new company
Your new company is a contractor based in northern Greater Manchester and has 20 years' of industry leading experience working on both minor and major schemes. They have developed an excellent relationship for retaining clients while winning new work, boasting a secure pipeline for the next decade. Their current sectors include, MoJ, Commercial, Retial, Offices, Private developments and Public Sector schemes.
They have a friendly and supportive attitude within the office and keep a healthy competitive nature amongst colleagues while supporting all staff towards their individual goals, be either chartership or promotion.
Your new role
Your new role will see you working as an Intermediate BIM Technician working across the sectors mentioned above using AutoCAD and Revit to complete drawings and designs within a timely and precise manner. You will be trained and up-skilled on design software however, you will use your existing design software experience to help you grasp the quick-paced nature of the business. You will not be asked to meet with clients initially but as you progress throughout your career, your interaction with clients and stakeholders will increase. As an Intermediate BIM Technician, your role will be initially assisting on existing designs with the aim to be running your own designs within a short amount of time.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your application you will need a minimum of 2 years' UK AutoCAD and Revit experience within the construction and the built environment realm. You will need to attend the office each day as this is the requirements of the clients and business due to the fast-paced nature of the schemes, so the ability to travel to Bolton is a must.
For any non-UK nationals, you will need a minimum of 5 years remaining on your visa with full working rights.
