Mechanical Project Manager - To £60K + Car Allowance

I have a unique role that will appeal to a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to pivot their career into more of a Project Engineer / Project Manager role.

Established in the UK over 20 years ago, this Mechanical Contractor has everything inhouse, from design, installation, commissioning to maintenance. What also makes them unique is that they only work directly with end user clients, and hence form true partnerships as they are always trying to find the best solution for their clients.

As a business, they utilise their knowledge of HVAC, BMS and Energy and Sustainability to ensure their clients buildings are operating as efficiently as possible and remain future proofed.

Due to ongoing success across London and a steady increase in the demand for their services, they are now looking for an additional Mechanical Project Engineer / Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you'll enjoy working on a variety of different projects on behalf of blue-chip companies such as Sony, London Stock Exchange, Hilton Hotel, Pfizer, BBC, Nestle and VUE Cinemas as a few examples.

The ideal candidate is likely to have initially worked on the tools for a contractor or service provider before completing a degree and gaining a few years' experience with a consultancy or design and build contractor. Or they could possibly be a degree qualified, Senior Mechanical Engineer who has plenty of site experience and has seen a few projects through from concept to construction and enjoys the onsite management / onsite coordination aspects of the role.
