Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

Employer
Construkt RS
Location
Exeter, Devon
Salary
+ Package, Relocation Where Necessary & Sponsorship To MCIBSE
Closing date
28 Dec 2023

I have just been retained by a leading MEP Design Consultants, based in Exeter, who are keen to add either a Senior or Principal Mechanical MEP/Building Services Engineer to join their team. This role has been brought about both as a result of controlled expansion and owing to a recent internal promotion within the company itself.

You will report to either a Director or Partner of the business and you will have your own team of subordinate Mechanical Design Engineers to mentor.

As you work alongside the Director/Partner you will be introduced to existing and new clients and you must be able to communicate with individuals at a very senior level.

Ideally you will be a Chartered Design Engineer (MCIBSE) or IMechE. If you hold a relevant Degree and are approaching Chartership or need sponsorship this will also be welcomed.

Hopefully, you will have at least 7 years hands on MEP design experience under your belt working on a variety of projects.

Hevacomp is the main Mechanical Design software and if you have Revit experience as well, this would be most useful.

This particular company pride themselves on the quality of their designs and strive to 'get it right first time' in order to meet strict deadlines.

There is a very strong team ethos with the Practice and this is actively encouraged from Board Directors down to Graduate employees.

It must be stressed, Exeter is a great place to work, with cost effective accommodation and easy access to some of England's most beautiful coastline and inland areas.
