A company renowned for its expertise in the design and installation of automatic fire sprinkler systems is currently seeking a Junior Sprinkler Design Engineer to become part of their design team in Belfast. With a history spanning over 15 years, this firm has built a commendable reputation for excellence and operates in various sectors such as Commercial, Retail, Aviation, Industrial, and Hospitality.

Your new role

• To assist a growing department of established designers in the preparation and design of domestic / commercial sprinkler systems
• To assist in maintaining accurate communications to client base, to include site meetings as required
• Assist in the production of technical documentation, installation drawings and coordination models.
• Assist with on-site surveying where necessary
• Assist with specification of equipment in line with design criteria.
• Assist with preparation of certification and O&M documentation.
• Support in update / review meetings with the client.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this position should have experience and proficiency in AutoCAD from a mechanical/electrical, architectural or engineering background. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also important qualities. Candidates must also have a valid UK Driving licence.
