Job Details

Your new company
The University of Birstol is a great organisation to work for within Bristol with a versatile property portfolio and a large range of projects to be involved with throughout your career. They are the second-biggest employer in the county and their aim is to continue to bring further expertise into their organisation. The role itself has become available due to the previous post holder reaching their peak in development, leading them to take a step-up in their career.
Your new role
As a compliance officer, you will be responsible for the Mechanical and Water including Gas Compliance elements and contracts. You will work closely with the contractors to ensure they are reaching the minimum expectation of 95% compliance along with having a strong overview of the budgets associated with these contracts. The role does require you to act as a project manager for any associated projects for your compliance streams. Projects will be managed from inception to completion.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you will need to be mechanically qualified, ideally within Gas and Water. You will need to have experience of working on diverse property portfolios and must have a strong track history of contract management whilst managing works and projects.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £41,732 to £46,974 including 23 days of annual leave, not including the additional 8 bank holidays and 20.6% Pension (Employee 6.1%, Employer 14.5%) plus further qualifications within your field covered by the university and an opportunity to do an On Call rota for an extra £500 per Month. Rotation is 1 week on 7 weeks off.
