Mechanical Design Engineer - To £55K + Progression and Autonomy
This multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy has a reputation for staff retention, quality of design and for maintaining a positive work life balance. They regularly feature in the CIBSE Building Performance Awards and CIBSE Consultancy of the year; and genuinely care about the health and well being of every employee.
Their business is built on quality, not quantity and they remain privately owned by working Partners who all remain, in a hands-on role. With six offices across the UK, their project portfolio is extremely varied, so you can expect to work on a variety of listed, commercial, education, industrial, healthcare, and super-prime residential developments.
With a focus on innovation and precision engineering, their projects usually set new standards in terms of quality or energy efficiency; and allow you to also try out new technologies, materials or methods of construction.
Working closely with the MEP Director and Mechanical Director; you'll help design and deliver varied and challenging projects. You will benefit from being involved in everything from zero carbon new build developments to complex decarbonisation projects within listed buildings.
You'll be able to use your leadership skills to help empower, develop, and inspire the next generation of Building Services Engineers. You'll function as a single point of contact for clients and ensure your HVAC designs integrate seamlessly with the other services and promote the use of cutting-edge technologies, which drive energy efficiency and sustainability.
