This Belfast based consultancy provide services to the mechanical, electrical and public health engineering industry, focusing on project management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and sustainable design. This practice inherits a comprehensive project portfolio of landmark projects including healthcare, technology, commercial, industrial and educational clients.
Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be a key part of the Building Services Engineering team:
- To provide discipline leadership
- To adhere to the design process and undertake mechanical engineering design activities relating to the project
- To fulfil the practice's overall objective in producing first class engineering on time and on budget
- To have thorough knowledge of, and comply with, company procedures and standards
- Be accountable for technical performance, quality, and budget control on all projects within the team and have a hands-on approach to resolving technical issues in design elements
- Ensuring technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous improvement processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5 years previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer role within Building Services.
- Previous experience using Revit software and/or IES Software.
- Obtained chartered status or willing to work towards this.
- Excellent leadership skills and client focused.
