Job Summary
The Environmental Design and Sustainability team seeks an Associate Principal of Sustainability to join Introba, a dynamic firm dedicated to advancing sustainable design in the built environment. We are looking for an experienced energy efficiency and decarbonization specialist to lead and develop an established but growing workstream of standalone and portfolio projects across all built environment sectors.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities:

Multifaceted Leadership: Manage diverse responsibilities in Marketing, People, Financial, Technical, and Core Competencies.

Client Representation: Represent Introba in client meetings, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding revenue targets.

Strategic Business Oversight: Identify new project opportunities and oversee the implementation of the strategic business plan.

Workforce Management: Engage in workforce management, conducting financial forecasting and implementing technical programs.

Service Excellence: Ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining profitability.

Key Performance Indicators: Monitor and enhance key performance indicators, including client satisfaction, project financial performance, and team turnovers.

Company Values: Actively uphold company core values, demonstrating positivity, leadership, and technical proficiency.

Business Development: Contribute to strategic planning, organizational efficiency, and quality control, positioning Introba as a leader in sustainable design and engineering innovation.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 10 years of specific environmental and sustainable design experience within the built environment (specifically within HVAC, BMS, energy metering and data)

Professional membership (chartered engineer or energy manager or working towards, CIBSE, Energy Institute, IMEA or equivalent)
-
Hold (or plan to attain) BREEAM, LEED Accreditation, ESOS Lead Auditor

Leading and developing teams
-
Experienced in energy auditing and efficiency improvement programs

Experience with energy performance contracting, i.e. SALIX, ESOS, DEC and EPC assessments, Net Zero, CMVP is a plus!

Renewable energy design and implementation

Development of business cases and validation of project delivery

LCA and whole life carbon
