Your new company

It is a market leading multi-disciplinary consultancy practice with offices around the world. On the MEP side, they do a lot of work alongside local authorities and public sector frameworks as well as large multi-million pound projects around the world. They have a number of landmark projects coming up and are generally always looking at talented Engineers coming through.

Your new role

They are looking for an experienced Engineer (Principal - Associate/ Associate Director) within the Education sector to join the team in London and act as a sector lead within the Southern region. This will involve taking on a Project lead role, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and acting as a point of contact between the client and the consultancy. Eventually, this could lead to a Director level role looking after the specialism over larger areas and becoming an expert/ presence within the industry. Project wise, they have a lot of work already, including projects at universities covering the lab, student accomodation, commercial design within campuses.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will be known within the Education sphere with previous contacts and knowledge of what it takes to work on larger projects within this world. You must also have a strong core technical background within MEP consultancy Engineering of around 7+ years. You must be qualified with a relevant Engineering degree or diploma and must be able to maintain and enforce systems within a multi-discplinary environment. You will ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartership as you will need to sign off on projects, and it is preferable if you can obtain SC clearance. You must have full right to work in the UK without restriction or sponsorship as this cannot be offered.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a very competitive salary based on your level of experience, alongside a generous package which includes private healthcare, pension contribution and 27 days holiday. They also operate a hybrid working pattern of 2 days a week in the office and 3 days at home, depending on workload/ client or site visits. They also place a big focus on career development and progression as well as offering the opportunity for international working.
