The portfolio consists of corporate and commercial properties that range from brand-new buildings to listed buildings. The Building Control team is made up of a multidisciplinary team that are clear experts within their fields supporting a range of works for the full corporation.
Your new role
The team are seeking an experienced M&E professional to oversee and advise on the corporation's projects and compliance to ensure that teams and buildings meet the industry-set regulations and British standards. You will complete regular technical reports that will be viewed by various stakeholders and act as a technical lead on any technical matters. Day to day you will complete full inspections (Pre and Post) to review the standard of workmanship and overall standard of work. In this post you will work with various teams and act as a support on all M&E matters.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold a Building Services qualification at the level of HND/HNC or Beng and have a proven track record of working within the public sector as an M&E technical lead that has reported to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate would have both Mechanical and Electrical understanding.
What you'll get in return
You will receive an annual salary of £63,300 - £70,390 made up of salary and market supplement, along with a generous holiday package of 28 days plus 8 public holidays plus a local authority pension of up to 17.5%. Within the public sector, you receive yearly increases in salary, offering a great opportunity to continue growing your income. Offering hybrid work 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.
