Your New CompanyJoin a dynamic and innovative engineering team based in London, where you will be part of a collaborative construction environment that values technical excellence and professional growth. Dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a variety of sectors, including Residential, Healthcare, Education, and Commercial projects with some key landmark projects working alongside NEOM. The actual company is a growing architectural practice who are working on multiple mega projects abroad and have built an in-house engineering team to do a lot of design checking, coordination and client management.
Your New RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in projects, ensuring technical quality and professionalism. You will be responsible for producing/ checking detailed design packages for all mechanical engineering systems, including domestic water and sewage systems, HVAC solutions, process systems, fire engineering systems, and building management systems. You will also support the Leadership Team with technical reviews, presentations, and guidance, providing direction to various technical subconsultants.
What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant construction discipline.
- Practical experience in mechanical design, both in the UK and internationally.
- Proficiency in design software packages, including AutoCAD and REVIT/BIM 360.
- Experience across a wide range of sectors, particularly in Residential, Healthcare, Education, and Commercial projects.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire junior team members and subconsultants.
- Excellent client management abilities and the capability to lead multiple technical design packages.
