Your new company
This youthful and fast-growing MEP and environmental specialist consultancy focusses on creating excellent low-carbon and sustainable buildings. With a team of 50 experts, they work on both local and international projects. Recent work includes creative and innovative residential developments in London, architecturally unique single family dwellings, and high-value hotels. They work from a spacious office in the heart of London's creative district, and the team maintains an active social calendar. Now seeking a new mechanical design engineer with a keen interest in creative and sustainable building projects.
Your new role
You will join a busy team of MEP designers who work across a wide range of building projects. You will have the opportunity to work on both local and international projects, typically residential and hotel projects. Work is across design stages with an emphasis on early stages of design. You will manage your own workload, supported by a senior or associate mentor. You will attend meetings with clients and other industry professionals, and attend local sites. You will be developed into a capable mechanical engineer and given the opportunity to take charge of your own projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working as a mechanical design engineer within a consultancy environment. You will have a history of working on multiple project types, with residential, hotels, and hospitality projects of particular interest. You will have excellent client-facing behaviours and be confident about representing a respected and growing brand when meeting clients and other industry professionals. You will have experience across multiple design stages, including early stages (stage 1-2). You will have a relevant qualification in mechanical design. You will be Chartered or interested in gaining Chartered status.
What you'll get in return
You will join a busy and respected business with strong plans for future growth. You will work on a variety of innovative and creative building projects in the UK and abroad. You will join a friendly and social team of like-minded design engineers who maintain an active social calendar. You will receive strong future career development opportunities as the business continues to grow.
