A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 50 years of experience is looking for junior/intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their newly formed MEP Department. As one of the largest and most reputable firms, they have a proven track record of delivering diverse projects in the commercial, education, health, and residential sectors. This is a unique and exciting chance to contribute significantly to the growth of an innovative MEP Department.
Your new role
- Designing electrical building services for a diverse range of projects.
- Collaborating with various in-house design disciplines.
- Liaising with clients.
- Producing briefs, specifications, design drawings, conducting surveys, and preparing cost estimates.
- Undertaking surveys and writing technical reports.
- Participating in design team and site meetings.
- Developing within a team of engineers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in electrical engineering/architectural engineering or building services.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with UK Building Regulations.
- At least 2 years of experience in building services design.
- Proficient in BIM/Revit or willing to develop these skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient in all Microsoft and CAD systems.
- A team player with the ability to positively influence team members.
