Electrical Associate Director - Up to £100K
Hit a glass ceiling?
This sustainability-led, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy has been designing low-energy buildings that improve people's lives for over a decade. Sustainability, innovation, and employee well-being are at the heart of everything they do.
Due to continued growth, the MEP Director has asked me to find an ambitious Electrical Associate Director for their London Bridge office.
As an Electrical Associate Director, you'll lead a range of hotel, listed building, education, commercial, and mixed-use developments across London and the Southeast.
What makes this opportunity unique is that it truly offers the best of both worlds. While they have an established MEP and Sustainability presence in other UK offices, with tried and tested templates and standards; M&E in London is still in its early stages. This means you'll be involved in projects from feasibility all the way through to construction.
No firefighting problematic projects with impossible deadlines and no fees left.
No inheriting designs from engineers who disappeared long ago!
This is a fresh start, a genuine opportunity to shape and influence the future of the MEP team.
You'll act as the go-to expert for all aspects of electrical services while also discussing elements of mechanical, public health, and sustainability with clients.
Why not join a well-led, stable, and ethical consultancy that's helping to save the planet, one building at a time.
Benefits
- 5-hour week (4:30 pm finish on Fridays)
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
- 26 days leave + 8 bank holidays
- Option to buy or sell additional leave
- 2 extra days leave for volunteering
- 5% pension contribution
- Professional membership fees covered
- Dedicated training & development budget
- 4x life assurance
- 4 weeks full-pay sick leave
- Enhanced maternity & paternity leave
- Discretionary annual bonus
Requirements
- Degree qualified with at least 10 years' experience as an Electrical (Building Services) Design Engineer
- Strong leadership skills, able to lead projects and manage a small team
- Good understanding of MEP and Sustainability
- Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
