Wild Recruitment are working with a well known and highly reputable business in Portsmouth in their search for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
You will be working in a fast paced and multi disciplined office, focusing on new products and overseeing the projects from start through to completion.
You will be part of a large team of engineers, so a strong team player is a must!
Duties and Responsibilities:- Ensure all projects are running smoothly and on time.
- Implement design modifications on various products.
- Concept design through to production release.
- Oversee other engineers and their work.
- Work closely with and support the manager.
- Work on a wide range of products with quick turnarounds.
- Have strong design experience ideally within the marine sector.
- Have senior level management experience.
- Experience with Creo is preferred.
- Be able to create 3D CAD drawings to a high standard.
- Have experience working on Injection Mouldings, Castings, Fabrication and Sheet Metal.
