Our client, a Construction and Engineering Consultancy, are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in London, on a hybrid basis.
Our client is a leading Environment and Building Services Consultancy, offering sustainable solutions for Mechanical and Electrical areas of building design, including infrastructure planning and BIM Services; specialising in sectors such as Residential, Education, Commercial, Sport, Leisure and Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
–You will be expected to align with client briefs to develop, present and deliver technical solutions accordingly.
–Report on any feedback from the client.
–You will be responsible for the overseeing of the project work and provide updates when necessary to the project manager.
–Deliver designs within time scales.
–Support other members on your team.
–You will be responsible for liaising with external members of the design team, such as Clients and Architects etc.
Key Requirements:
–Must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
–Have effective IT skills to be able to produce material.
–Must have experience with Revit and CAD.
–Have experience with Bluebeam.
–Experience using software packages such as IES or HEVACOMP.
–Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
–Required to have a minimum of two years' experience working within an engineering environment.
–Have experience dealing with, coordinating and producing projects, with an understanding of project management tools and the delivery of projects.
–Able to work efficiently within a team environment.
