This role is for a team playing senior electrical design engineer, you will join the MEP team of an established multi–disciplinary design consultancy. You will work on complex and high specification design and/or construction projects, creating or upgrading industrial, process, research, commercial and public buildings. Project are based throughout the UK and Europe

Responsibilities

• Detailed design drawings with a specialisation in electrical system design.
• Preparing specifications and schedules and design development reports.
• Taking projects through from inception to completion and handover.
• Undertaking survey work.
• Production of feasibility reports.
• Attend site progress meetings and review installations.
• Supporting junior staff.
• Maintaining good client relationships.
• Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in–house and external project teams.

Experience Required

• Preferably a bachelor s or master s degree in building services or electrical engineering.
• Solid electrical design experience in the building services sector.
• Chartered or working towards chartership would be advantageous although not essential.
• Great interpersonal skills, a team player and a genuine interest in helping others.
